We just signed on with Valentine Entertainment to start scoring their second feature film, "THE TAKEN". Written and directed by Richard Valentine.
Produced by Ryan Gulick and Jessica Von. It's a horror thriller that combines the suspense and terror of "Saw", with the surprising plot twists of "Seven".
"THE TAKEN" is six strangers, taken against their will, wake up to find themselves prisoners of a masked Psychopath. One by one the abductees are ripped
from their restraints and hauled away, only to fall victim to their captor's demented experiments. But, just when you think it’s game over for his victims, they
are offered a cruel chance of escape. Now free from their confines, the remaining captives must venture out into the endless labyrinth of corridors and find a
way out before the madman can bring them under his scalpel.

A month ago we finished scoring "MONSTERPIECE THEATRE VOL 1" for director Ethan Terra of Blood Worx Films and Silver Lake Productions.
Produced by John Carl Buechler, Bobby Akers Jr. and Ryan R Johnson. The cast included everyone from Tiffany Shepis to Kane Hodder.
It is a feature length film that has 4 short stories told within the film. There is an element of comedy underneath the layers of horror and suspense.
It was a blast to work on and we can't wait to start Vol 2. Look for VOL 1 to be distributed this year to DVD.

Back in July we had contacted Chris Morgan from Morgan Films Entertainment, about their upcoming fan film "Halloween 30". I asked if he had a composer lined for the short. He responded with a yes but we should keep in touch. Before we knew it, his composer had other commitments and that if we were still interested in working on it let him know.
As a fan myself, Chris did a great job continuing the story and keeping the character line familiar, but in his direction. I think the Halloween fans are in for a real treat. No pun intended! We had a blast recreating a great piece of work to begin with and turning any which way we want. Chris was great about letting us just try things until we found what worked. There a a couple of the tracks in our demo reel for anyone interested.

Completed a pilot for a possible new TV series called "Confessions of an Exorcist" for David Heavener Entertainment in Los Angeles. What a great experience that was for us. A great group of people are working their butts off to get the show out there for all to see. Website and network info coming soon. We wrote somewhere between 40 - 45 cues of music and have uploaded 10 of those cues as samples of the style and sound we used for the show.
